Pit Viper The Schist Fondue Sunglasses

These shades are awesome.

The main glasses are great – good coverage, clear lenses. The removable side shields are a nice idea but they look a bit odd when you wear them. I usually take them off unless I'm doing yard work. Overall, I like them.

The Schist Fondue are the perfect adventure sunglasses. The side shields block the wind and dust when I'm on the trail, and I can take them off for driving. The lens quality is excellent – no distortion. They fit securely and comfortably for hours. Definitely worth the sale price.

The glasses are decent, but the lens is a little dark for overcast days. Also, the side shields attach with small magnets that don't feel super secure. I've had one fall off. But they're fine when they stay on.

The glasses themselves are fine, but one of the side shields broke off after just a few uses. The plastic is thin. I tried to superglue it but it doesn't stay. Disappointing because I bought them for the shields.

I use these for mountain biking and the side shields are perfect for keeping bugs and debris out of my eyes. The lenses are polarized and make the trail pop. The glasses stay put with the grip nose piece. I've already recommended them to my riding buddies.

I wear these every day to work and on the weekends. They look cool and the lens quality is good. The side shields are a bit gimmicky but they do what they're supposed to. The only thing is they're a bit large, but that's the style.
